About
I have always had a heart for helping people and am able to connect with a grace-filled approach to provide hope and healing to others. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in social work from University of South Dakota and Master's degree in social work from University of Denver. I then spent eight years working for Child Protection, Avera Behavioral, and in residential treatment. My education and experience taught me about the impact our childhood, relationships, and disruptive experiences have on our functioning, and the way in which we perceive the world. I began working in private practice in 2011, and have been providing individual therapy since that time. I have seen the profound impact trauma, transition, and mood have on our bodies, and the profound impact pain, illness, and injury have on our mood. I began to focus on an integrative approach with clients, and have seen restoration and healing for many clients when incorporating medical care, nutrition, movement, and massage to their work in counseling, simultaneously treating the mind and body. I am passionate about holistic well-being, and am excited to work in collaboration with an incredible team to provide the most complete whole-person healing.
