Amanda Carlos

I currently work as a Senior Associate in the asset management practice in PwC’s downtown Toronto office. My primary client is one of the largest hedge fund investors, where I have served as a key audit team member for the past three years. I have worked on some of my client’s most complex funds and am knowledgeable in both US GAAP and IFRS. In 2015, I received a Spotlight award, which recognizes staff who go beyond what is expected to produce significant results for PwC. I also received the GTA Team CEO Award in 2016; a nomination-based program that recognizes teams who achieve outstanding results and exemplify core company values. Prior to starting full-time at PwC, I attended the University of Guelph and served as a teaching assistant in Intermediate Accounting while completing my degree. I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and was awarded the College of Business and Economics Distinguished Scholar for achieving the highest cumulative average in the College of Business and Economics.
