I'm a product designer with a background in enterprise applications, financial services, and global consumer sites. I love to help simplify the complex, work on big problems, and collaborate with tightly-knit teams. I gravitate toward products that solve important problems. As a manager I believe in recognition, transparency, and iterative learning. I'm currently a Director of Product Design at Facebook, managing the profile and search experiences. Prior to Facebook, I was the Head of Design, at Asana. As the head of design at Asana I was responsible for the product design, marketing design, and brand teams. Our team led a redesign and rebrand for Asana which launched in September 2015. Prior Experience: As the group manager for QuickBooks Web and Mobile, I managed a team of over 50 designers, researchers, writers and front-end developers. My team is responsible for the user experience of QuickBooks Online as well as the iPhone, iPad, and Android phone/tablet apps. Other products supported by the team are: Weave (time/project management mobile app), Intuit Payments, and Intuit Payroll products. Prior to Intuit, I was the Director of UX at Yahoo!, for the Network Services group. There I managed a team of designers responsible for Yahoo!'s membership and social products. I came to Yahoo! from Wells Fargo where I redesigned the Wells Fargo homepage, online application and online banking experiences. I hold an undergraduate degree in design and an MBA.
