Yaghoob (Amir) Farnam

Dr. Farnam is an Associate Professor at Drexel University. He earned his PhD in 2015 from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. He received his B.Sc. From K.N. Toosi University of Technology and his M.Sc. From University of Tehran. He has been involved in research on the durability and performance of civil engineering materials since he was an undergraduate student. His research includes theoretical, analytical and experimental aspects of civil engineering materials. He works in the areas of novel and sustainable engineering materials, non-destructive testing, concrete durability, and service-life assessment of concrete. During his research, he has been able to publish over 50 scientific and technical documents. For the research that Dr. Farnam has performed in the field of cement and concrete, he has received the 2014 Portland Cement Association (PCA) Education Foundation’s J. P. Gleason Fellowship. In 2015, his Ph.D. Research was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate Research at Purdue University College of Engineering.
