Heading the UN-Habitat Urban Governance, Policies and Legislation Programme in Egypt which aims towards improving the urban governance & management on the national, sub-national & local levels. We provide analysis of relevant political, social & economic trends that feed projects & proposals development & implementation in addition to the evidence based policy discussions for better formulation & implementation. I lead the strategic directions & partnerships with the other UN Agencies, UN-Habitat HQs staff & Government officials, technical, multi-lateral & bi-lateral donors & civil society ensuring successful UN-Habitat programme implementation. Setting CARE’s innovation environment to improve our performance, capitalize on our current "scale up" projects and maximize our impact. Leading our national & regional strategic partnerships promoting our Governance and Social Accountability activities. I was responsible for mainstreaming the organization's cross-cutting approaches/strategies into its programs, leading the communication (external and internal) and the partnership with the private sector and to manage and set up our ICT for Development function in the organization.
