Amy Lisa Lomastro

I am licensed as Registered Nurse by the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Department of Health. Throughout my clinical rotations and employment I have had opportunities to deliver nursing care in several different settings. My clinical experiences, academic achievements and employment opportunities have aided me in developing a strong foundation of nursing concepts such as: therapeutic communication, assessment, critical thinking, patient-centered care, patient education, holistic care, prioritization and collaboration with other health care providers. Strengths that I can offer include: reliability, flexibility, organization, compassion and a strong desire for excellence. I plan to deliver care to patients and families utilizing the nursing process; integrating knowledge of human developmental stages, patient-centered care and culturally competent care. My main passion in life is to help others.
