I started my Ph.D. With the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program at The Ohio State University in August 2019. I received my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad EIA in Colombia. Currently, I am working on designing novel nanocarrier-based therapies for valvular heart diseases, pulmonary inflammation, low back pain, and neurofibromatosis. I plan to use the skills developed in this lab to pursue a research oriented-career developing cutting-edge treatments for heart, lung, intervertebral disc, and peripheral nervous system disorders.
