Ana Pérez Aponte

I am from Spain and I have been living in Sweden since 2011. For the last 20 years I have worked as an inclusive business and environmental consultant for the private and public sectors in Spain, Sweden, East Africa and Southeast Asia. I am co-founder of Inclusive Business Sweden, where I am the Development Director. Currently, my main task is to design, implement, monitor and evaluate impact measurement strategies to ensure that our interventions are reaching low-income people, providing them with access to jobs, income generating opportunities and access to sustainable goods and services. I am not only interested in numbers of beneficiaries reached but also in understanding how the living conditions of project's beneficiaries and the environment improve and how poverty, in all its dimensions, is addressed through the projects and programmes I am part of. What I like the most is working with local communities in rural areas to pilot, adapt and implement alternative and innovative livelihood models and products to address global challenges of poverty and sustainability, specially those contributing to achieve SDG2.
