I am driven by the prospect of growth. That's that gets me up in the morning and starts my engines so to speak. I think there is potential for growth everywhere and anywhere and I like to find my role in it and help achieve it. Here are the areas that I'm passionate about. Personal Growth: I hate labels. I don't like to see myself as just an English teacher, or just Coordinator, just a mother etc. I am many things and once I've reached a position, why should I stop there? I love to learn and broaden my horizon. If you would've asked me 10+ years ago if I saw myself building a specialized English program from scratch for a start-up company, with teachers working under me and receiving direction from me, I would have thought you were talking about someone else. And there's nothing to say that in another 10+ years I won't hold a position that I cannot dream about today. I am going to keep on being a student until there isn't anything left for me to learn. Students' Growth: I love trying to get to the bottom of why English is difficult to learn for every one of my students. I try to make sure that although all the students learn the same curriculum, they each get what they need from the material. When I see a student understanding and using the language autonomously, it motivates me to keep doing what I do and that is teach. Companies' Growth: The same way I see myself, I wonder what I can do to help a company grow, considering the skills and experience I have. Is there another way that I can contribute to the growth of the company? Why do I even bother with this? Because I believe that with teamwork anything is possible and everyone benefits. If the company is successful the employees are too.
