Canadian entrepreneur Ancelin came to Vancouver from China as a teenager and so came of age in world very different from where she born.Having always admire her mother's glamorous taste, she grew up with an inherited affinity for Hermes and Chanel, and was at ease in the language of luxury and high-end fashion.Yet her life on the west coast of Canada introduced a new sensibility to her lexicon of expression- the purity of nature, the beauty of the wilderness, the calm of the forest and an ocean view. Breathing the fresh pacific air and traversing this laid-back casual city gave her a different perspective on the soul of design.Luxury should be accessible.
