Today all functions and individuals must have an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset as well as being part of an integrated sales process. I have international experience from both manufacturing companies and service companies, which provide a solid understanding for business development. In addition, I have been responsible of functions for R&D – production – sales & marketing – after sales, which have enhanced my ability to develop holistic and integrated solutions. In my career I have managed communication, marketing, sales and product management through different channels; direct via own sales organization; sales via country managers in international matrix organizations; as well as via distributors and agents globally. Sales have covered both product selling and solution selling with long sales cycles. As a person I am flexible and social with a multicultural mind set. I enjoy working with people, and have managed people from different countries and cultures in different functions. I believe in team efforts were concerned individuals are involved in the processes of planning – decision making – implementation – follow up & corrective actions – reporting. Involvement creates creativity and commitment and is developing for both individuals and the organization. Spare time is much dedicated to activities at my farm like hunting & fishing, foresting, equestrianism and different construction projects. I also do sports like skiing and ice hockey. Generally I have an appetite for life with social activities, events, travelling, good food and wine. Most weekends friends and neighbors end up at my kitchen table for dinner and interesting discussions. I don’t know why it is so but hope it is because I have the ability to create a good atmosphere.
