With my endless amount of energy, I chose to study Tourism Management because I felt that the dynamic hospitality industry is where I would excel. During my studies and after getting my Bachelor's Degree, I worked on jobs highly focused on Customer service. After gaining experience in customer relations, I decided that one-on-one communication is something I am good at but wasn't dynamic enough. I wanted to speak to masses! So I decided to study Public Relations and Business Communication. I am working on getting my Masters' Degree. At the moment I am employed in the Pharmaceutical industry as an Office assistant where communications are only a small part of my daily tasks. I would like to focus more intensely on the field of my studies, i.e. Public Relations. What I am especially interested in are corporate communications. Why corporate? Because they incorporate (note the word pun) both internal and external communication as well as crisis communication --- never slows down, never gets boring – just the way I like it. Allow me to describe myself as a colleague. I usually start by saying I'm responsible and hardworking. Not because these are desirable traits to state when job searching, I really like getting work done. I appreciate tasks that push my limits and allow me to put my intellect and creativity to good use. Although I have no problem working by myself, I appreciate the benefits of teamwork. A good team can result in amazing brainstorm sessions full of great insights and feedback and it enables me to learn from more experienced colleagues. Also, having a squad to have a beer with after work doesn’t hurt. Outside of work I enjoy hiking and cycling, cooking, cinema and theatre, and love a good concert. I am also a coffee addict, Netflix junkie, and a Star Wars superfan. Oh, and I like to think I’m quite funny – this is debatable, though.
