Andrea Weiss

Ms. Weiss has had a thirty year career in senior leadership with some of the world’s foremost retailers. She is the founder of The O Alliance, LLC and CEO of Retail Consulting Inc., a global consulting practice focused on the retail, e-commerce and consumer sector. Her work is known for its thought provoking leadership and customer-centric approach. As part of her practice work, Ms. Weiss has provided both consulting services, operating expertise, and has the unique ability to step into a business as a “C”- level executive. In this role, she has been part of the re-invention of the luxury department store, Palacio de Hierro (Mexico City), led the turnaround of a Canadian retailer and acted as chairman of Grupo Cortefiel, a major Spanish retailer, which operates stores in more than 60 countries. Ms. Weiss is also an advisor to a number of early stage e-commerce and digital businesses, as well as leading private equity firms. Prior to establishing her own consulting business, Ms. Weiss was President of the multi-channel teen retailer, dELiA*s , President of GUESS, and Executive Vice President, Chief Stores Officer of L Brands, where she was responsible for more than 5800 stores−across a 10 brand portfolio. Earlier in her career, she was Senior Vice President at ANN TAYLOR and Director of Merchandising for The Walt Disney Company.
