Andrew Faber

Andrew Faber was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Victorian Land Registry Services in March 2020, having previously served as a Director of the Board since November 2018.He has over 17 years’ experience in the financial services industry, including 9 years’ experience as a senior executive across mergers and acquisitions, investment and asset management in infrastructure and real assets globally.Andrew was previously an Executive Director and Head of New Investments at Hastings Funds Management, where he was involved in leading and arranging more than $20bn of investments in infrastructure businesses globally across the registries, water, electricity, airport and seaport sectors. This included leading the successful $2.6bn bid in 2016 by Hastings and First State Super for NSW Land Registry Services, where he also served as a Director.Andrew played a key role in First State Super’s successful $2.89 billion bid for the commercialisation of Victorian Land Registry Services in September 2018.Prior to Hastings, Andrew was a Legal Counsel with Westpac Institutional Bank in Sydney, before being appointed Head of Legal in 2008.Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from University of Sydney, and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
