I am a Technical Director with Wardell Armstrong working from the West Bromwich office. I am responsible for team and project management, budgeting and cost control and client management and business development. I have extensive experience in managing technical commissions involving detailed desk studies, ground investigations, major earthmoving operations including controlled backfilling and land reclamation and remediation projects. I have significant experience of preparing and administering reclamation contracts under traditional and more recent NEC conditions. I have worked extensively on a wide range of greenfield and brownfield projects for commercial, housing and mixed use developments, helping clients to bring projects through to successful completion from early planning stages to validation and regulatory sign-off.I worked for several years as Resident Engineer on a large reclamation and coaling scheme in the Black Country and have experience of contract management and arbitration proceedings. I have also acted as expert witness in a case involving a coal recovery operation in South Wales.
