Problem solver in the areas of power systems, robotics, proposals and business development, computer vision, machine learning, electric drive and hybrid propulsion, energy storage, complex systems of systems, swarms, high level autonomy, and behaviors. Multidisciplinary team leadership experience for planning, development, and system integration phases of complex systems including extensive platform integration and testing. Platforms include air, ground, surface and subsurface for crewed, uncrewed, and expendable systems. Over twelve years of team leadership experience, and twenty years of engineering experience in the area of power systems including surface ship, submarine, rotor craft, fixed wing, ground vehicle and robotic propulsion systems for the U.S. Military, and hybrid electric vehicles for commercial companies; feedback and feed-forward motor control systems, and systems engineering; controls development for propulsion, autonomy and power management. Specialties include technical project leadership, brainstorming and problem solving, electric/hybrid vehicle system level software and controls architecture.
