Andy Condon

After graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Drexel University in June of 2014, I accepted a role with Barclays Capital as a Transaction Client Service analyst in their Structured Notes middle office. The role coordinates the efforts of Settlements, Sales, and IT departments for various internal systems to ensure settlement of all trades executed by the front office. The role is fast paced and detail oriented, but I already have had numerous experiences in high-pressure positions due to Drexel’s co-op program. During my time in undergraduate study I've also maintained my own portfolio of personal investments. I have succeeded in setting an example for attentive work habits, I have shown the ability to meet rigid deadlines, and my previous employers can attest to my teamwork and willingness to take the initiative with projects. My extensive work with mutual funds at PFM Advisors has allowed me to gain a deep understanding of mutual fund operations, analysis, and the additional work associated with wealth management. My job duties at PFM Advisors included holdings analysis and some international fixed income analysis. While working on monthly reports for the City of Philadelphia and quarterly summaries for the rest of our institutional clients, I was responsible for analyzing the performance and holdings of about 50 different equity managers of all styles.
