Angel Anderson

I have been in law enforcement for about 14 years. I was nominated for Colorado's Victim's Advocate of the year while working for Yuma County, Colorado. I enjoyed all aspects of being an advocate from the crime scene to the court room. I assisted with everything from a car accident to a double homicide. I had numerous sexual assaults and domestic violence cases. I gave death notifications I was on call 24/7 365 days a year. I supervised and trained part-time and volunteer advocates. I attended numerous classes and conferences. I wrote grants and completed quarterly reports. I served as a Public Information Officer and taught CPR/AED, First Aid to our staff. As a Dispatch Supervisor I worked different shifts and hours. Trained new dispatchers and answered 911 calls. I dispatched multiple agencies and kept track of their times. As a deputy I answered those 911 calls. Wrote reports, search warrants and arrest warrants. Crime scene investigation and accident investigation. I interrogated suspects and interviewed victims. I enjoyed sales and the daily interactions with the customer base for 21st Century. I also enjoyed ordering the clothes and toys for the store I worked for. I helped with updating and maintaining the inventory of the store. I also looked up parts through the John Deere site to assist customers with their needs. I was on call one week out of the month to assist our customers with after hour needs. I now work at Tulsa Police Department-Detective Division as an Office Administrator. Answering the phones, sorting mail. I am an administrator for our Case Management and I complete requests from all of TPD, FBI, and any other agency or law firm wanting crime scene pictures or interviews. I do many other tasks as well and really enjoy it.
