Dr Angela Halliday www.angelahalliday.com Angela Halliday completed a BA Hons degree in Fine and Applied Arts in 2002 and was awarded a Master of Fine Arts with distinction in 2005 from the University of Ulster. She completed a practice-based PhD in 2011, producing a body of work including the video installations Helen (the library was my great project) and 1859. Her doctoral thesis was titled Video Narratives and The Construction of the Female Subject. The video work 'Helen (the library was my great project)', a single channel video installation, was acquired by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland for their collection in 2010. Angela's work has been shown nationally and internationally.
