Angela Bird

Angela initially trained in psychology (BSc. Psyc, ANU), and is currently completing her Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling (MA Cous, ECU) she also holds accreditations in Cognitive Behavioural Coaching/Therapy, Coaching Psychology, and Narrative Coaching and is an internationally qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She has been an advisor to the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Coaching Psychology and Australian Coaching Industry Research Advisory Boards on coaching and taught it internationally for over ten years. She is an accredited executive coach for Mount Eliza Centre for Executive Education, Melbourne Business School, one of the most prestigious business schools in Australia. Qualified in the use of several personal and business assessment tools including the MLQ 360 Leadership Assessment, Hogan, BAR-On, KEYSCOPE and the VIA Character Strengths Survey, she pushed on the edge of coaching for many years, by creating and teaching a different approach which proudly brings more than just the coaching technique to the process of human development. An early enthusiast of positive psychology, she developed and taught an online "A Practical Approach to Working with Character Strengths for Coaching and Therapy" course accredited with the Australian Psychological Society. Her professional, coaching and counselling experience of over 35 years covers fields as diverse as aviation, banking and finance, organisational psychology, human resources, advertising, sales, marketing, real estate, mining and minerals, virtual business, international restaurants, and IT.
