Strategic | Communication | Positivity | Achiever | Woo I am the Director of Healthcare Interiors for Kirksey’s Healthcare studio in Dallas with over 15 years of experience in planning and design of healthcare interiors. My deep understanding of the built environment and focus on human centered design is reflected through my conversational style and thoughtful approach to design solutions that positively impact people and their communities.I have influenced projects through research, implementation of Evidence Based Design and Human Centered Design best practices as well as my expertise in project management, client relations, technical review and consultant coordination. My experiences include but are not limited to, mental and behavioral health facilities, military medical clinics, cancer centers, pharmacies, women’s specialty units, pharmacies, and medical office buildings.Professionally, I have served as an advocate across a series of Design Leadership Councils which promote design initiatives and innovation.My passion for local community efforts, sustainability and education has lead to leadership opportunities within IIDA as Director for the Dallas City Center and VP of Communications for the TX OK Chapter Board, Co-founder of ZeroLandfill Dallas and Chairperson on the Advisory Board for Wade College. I am actively engaged in my local community supporting my neighborhood association on their board as the communications chair.
