I have been so blessed and thankful for an amazing nursing career. Most of my experience is related to adult Critical Care, but I've also trained in oncology and surgical services. I have traveled to Los Angeles, California working at the renowned Cedars Sinai in the Neuro-Trauma ICU. What I have learned the most over the last 15 years is that life is way too short. Never ever take your time here on Earth for granted - we never know when our last day will be. That being said, my husband and I faced a very difficult year in 2016 and the beginning of 2017. Without going in to too much detail, we are over the moon excited to be in the process of adopting our very first child. I will complete my Master's Degree in Nursing Education in May of 2018, and I have the dream of a lifetime planned -- I'm going on a medical missions trip to Africa!I began to realize that in order make my dreams come true and to be able to help support my family, something was going to have to change. I physically and emotionally could no longer commit to 12+ hour shifts on my feet with no break. I began seeking a solution...My passion in life revolves around leadership and equipping women to become the very best version of themselves. God created each of us with unique talents and gifts, but we must be confident in our own calling in order to share those gifts with the world. I have found financial freedom, time freedom, and most importantly a tribe of other women just like me who empower me and lift me up every single day.
