Anindya Mar'atus Sholikhah

My first dream was being a doctor, thus I studied math, chemistry, and biology harder compared to other subjects in my school days. But real truth "threw" me to public health, a major I never in a million years thought I'd be there.My life changed. Today, I become public health enthusiast after spending several months in rural areas of East Java, promoting people's health and doing several community developments. I was also blessed to have been offered the internship at the Health Promotion Center, Ministry of Health, Brunei Darussalam. Between the experience gained and the people I was able to work with, this internship was more than I could have ever hoped for as I got to learn many things and have new insights. These experiences brought me to a conclusion that made me grateful to choose public health. Now, I am living my second dream, a lecturer. I wanna help other people to love public health through education because I feel that public health is a field for people who care about the greater good of human beings. As the prophet always said, the best of people are those who are most beneficial to others, and this is in line with public health's motto.
