With 15 year of experience in various types of manufacturing plant operations across the globe, I have now taken a strategic role with Technology HQ in Schlumberger to leverage Industry 4.0 concepts and transform SLB plants across the globe into factories of the future. Use cases include digital execution, quality, paperless WOs, targeted work instructions delivery using AR/VR and moving from a descriptive maintenance/operation mode to a predictive mode. Current role includes helping with corporate strategy for digital enablement of SLB manufacturing and working closely with vendors and business for the identification, integration and implementation of digital solutions at an enterprise level. Examples include Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Machine Connectivity and SCADA Solutions, CMMS Systems, Digital Tooling, Gauge & Fixture Management, DNC systems. End goal is to connect these systems using a digital thread across the organization at all levels for seamless data flow. Worked in 6 countries with different nationalities and with a truly global mindset. Highly motivated and globally experienced manufacturing, quality and Lean Six Sigma expert. 10+ years of experience in oil and gas services equipment manufacturing across several countries and products such as Drilling & Measurement tools, Artificial Lift equipment, Lithium Ion batteries, Radioactive logging source. Well versed in managing high tier machining and oil and gas assembly and test manufacturing product lines. Implemented and improved quality and lean systems in multiple manufacturing centers to reduce non value added time and to maximize efficiency. Currently leading a team of 100+ employees at a highly automated and modern manufacturing centre in Shanghai, China.
