Anna Tucker

Graduate from London Metropolitan University in the field of International Relations. I have developed an interest in working with a diverse group of individuals and I am seeking employment opportunities which will allow me to do so. My experience in background screening has given me excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and I take great pride in my punctuality along with my ability to learn new information quickly. Furthermore, my time at university has been spent studying modules on global relations, diplomacy, history and policy. I actively participate continuous education through self-progression, having self-taught programming in Python. Further, courses from the University of Leeds, European University Institute and Royal Holloway University in culture and digital business has continued my interest into risk factors organisations face. Moreover, self-managed investment into stocks and shares to create capital gain has driven my interest in global investments looking to reduce capital risks. Having completed a History degree I have gained skills in analysis, data collection and presentation skills. These skills have been furthered, in relation, to my completed MA in Organised Crime and Global Security. Studies included topic such as terrorism, cybercrime and organised crime, which effect global security and company supply chains. My MA dissertation has further sparked my interest, it looked into China's human rights issues concerning Uyghur Muslims. Focusing on the daily lives of those detained and how it effects not only western supply chains but also the stability of human rights. China will inevitably become the dominant GDP in the future, which is why my dissertation focused on how companies can continue to interact with China and how the development of China can produce more significant risks to companies and global security. It also looked at China's global opportunities with the Belt and Road Initiative and how the Chinese culture shapes international social and economic relations. My current job has allowed me to become experienced in social media, media, financial, and global criminal checks, using such databases as: LexisNexis, Factiva, CallCredit, Call validate, ifacts,safe hiring and many more. I have learnt these skills are interchangeable and transferable. I have written code to pinpoint searches. I have identified issues within databases and corrected company guidelines on how to use them. I look forward to creating new ways to better attain information and reduce turn around times for my own work.
