Antonio Pizano

With over 19 years of financial services experience, Mr. Pizano has held various positions in the industry mostly dedicated to serving underbanked, underserved, and credit-challenged communities. Currently, he serves as a Consultant to the small business and community & economic development community by providing high-level strategic support in the areas of credit/underwriting, business development, operational efficiencies, staffing, product development, etc... Specifically, Mr. Pizano has spent the last 13 years in various executive & management roles primarily focused on small business lending activities for community development organizations within the CDFI and CDC industries. His past work experience includes consumer lending and credit, retail banking, home mortgage, and commercial/small business lending. Mr. Pizano, who attended California State University, Northridge with a major in Finance, is a recognized expert in credit, consumer and business lending, consulting and underwriting. Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Pizano is accomplished in business development, public speaking, and workshop facilitation and has served on executive boards of various organizations over the years. Currently, Mr. Pizano sits on the board of Valley Presbyterian Hospital's Foundation located in Van Nuys, CA, the Pacoima Development Federal Credit Union, a low-income community development financial institution located in the NorthEast San Fernando Valley as well as Birmingham Community Charter High School, a charter high school in Van Nuys, CA and is a past member of the Executive Financial Committee for the The Valley Economic Alliance.
