Ari Stern Weber

Ari Stern Weber is a Resident Director, Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Advisor, Senior Financial Advisor and Sports & Entertainment Advisor based out of The Boston Financial Center. Ari founded The Weber Group in 2013, and currently heads portfolio management for the team. While his client base is diverse, there is a particular concentration of Senior Financial Executives, Professional Athletes, Real Estate Professionals, C-Suite Executives and Business Founders. Prior to Merrill, he helped lead a capital markets division of a distressed real estate hedge fund, Ironwood Global, and held several positions in private equity, & investment banking.Ari is a member of the Boston Advisor Growth Network and is involved in training for the Merrill Advisor Development Program. He co-authored a book published by Wiley & Sons, with his research outlining preemptive measures institutions, nations and municipalities need to take to avoid a demographic, productivity and liability-driven crisis.Ari graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A in Economics and Business, and from The Johnson School at Cornell University with an MBA in Portfolio Management. While at Cornell, Ari sat on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee of the Franziska Racker Centers for Autism.In his down time he enjoys reading, painting, playing guitar, golf and local volunteer work. Ari lives in Charlestown with his Golden Retriever Lenox.
