Earlier, prime time News Presenter and Senior Editor with CNN News18. In the course of my 14-year long television career, I've specialised reporting from conflict zones in India and in the subcontinent. My stories and coverage have focused on the humanitarian aspect of conflict while simultaneously looking at issues of national security. I led CNN-News18's coverage during the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. I've also reported extensively on the Kashmir conflict- from both the Line of Control and the International Border during the peak of ceasefire violations between India and Pakistan. I have also covered the devastating Kashmir floods of 2014 and have reported from Dhaka during the 2016 terror attacks. I've also covered India's 2014 parliamentary elections- both from the newsroom and from on the ground. I presented a daily prime time show in the run up to the elections that provided sharp analysis of election trends. I was also the recipient of the prestigious UK Government Chevening Scholarship in 2015.
