I have been working in the hospitality industry (retail) at Grand Canyon National Park for 10 years on and off. It started off as a summer job between school, then full time once I graduated from college. Through this industry I have heavy customer interaction, that always prompts me to improve my customer services skills everyday. As a retail supervisor I have gained the skills in training, managing and teaching my associates in everyday tasks that are needed for our store to run smoothly. I'm trying to expand my work experience elsewhere besides the hospitality industry. The position I hold has given me a great platform to expand, and I hope what skills I acquired during my time here can push me forward to other endeavors.
