Austin Rutkowski

My name is Austin Rutkowski and I am from Downers Grove, Illinois. I am a first year undergraduate student at Indiana University and I am looking to major in Marketing in the Kelley School of Business. In high school, I ran varsity cross country and track all four years. I was a team leader for my work ethic and dedication to my team, for me it was always the team first. I loved to support my teammates in races and at practice to see them do their best and succeed in the end. I was well liked on the team because my kindness and enthusiasm for the team. I was involved in a club called Athletes Committed to Excellence (A.C.E.) which was for students to show how to be a good student athlete which includes hard work in school and remaining drug and alcohol free. I love being the leader and a role model to others, these two traits are the characteristics I strive for everyday. Being a team player is essential to my everyday life, not only does it help me, but helps others around me as well.
