Aziz Bouchrit

I am a front-end developer with 2 years of experience who enjoys turning UI mockups into production-ready, reusable, and responsive components. I carry international experience and enjoy being in intercultural evironments. I got introduced to frontend development in my university club and joined the web dev team as an Angular developer. After that, I got my first job as a React developer, ever since I developed my skills and became proficient in building complex and interactive user interfaces from scratch. I worked in integrating my last company's own design system. This is my last semester as an engineering student and I'm currently looking for a paid internship as a front-end or full-stack developer, I'm mainly experienced with React and Next JS, but I believe that technologies don't define engineers, they're more like tools that help us solve problems, that's why I'm always flexible to use new tech-stacks. In 2018, I joined the Google Developer Student Clubs branch in my university. So when I'm not studying or working, I'm either working on organizing an event or attending one. In fact, in 2019 we organized the biggest tech conference and hackathon in Tunisia with 120 attendees. I've also hosted many workshops introducing HTML&CSS and React JS. I recently came back from a student exchange scholarship in the United States, during this program had the chance to not only study and learn about the latest technologies but also to improve my communication skills by meeting people from different regions and cultures, and expand my network while studying and attending events. I was fortunate to live in the same building with 15 international students from 8 different countries and had two international roommates. This rich experience opened my eyes to different cultures and helped me share mine with the world. I became a global citizen who embraces diversity and sees life with an open-minded eye. Also, by living in a new country and being away from home I was forced to step out of my comfort zone and adapt myself to new environments, which made me more responsible and a better problem solver. This experience got me more eager to seek more opportunities and face new challenges by having an internship abroad, being a part of a culturally rich company, and eventually landing a full-time position.
