 Gained 20 years of practical experience in Development Work with various organizations including UN Agencies (UNICEF, UNHCR), Government of Tamil Nadu, and INGOs like Save the Children-UK, Action Aid, ADRA-India, Hand In Hand India in the field of Integrated projects, Health Projects, Solid Waste Management ,Ecological Sanitation, Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC) , School Sanitation and Hygiene Education SSHE, Improvement of WATSAN facilities in Refugee Camps, and Repatriation of Sri Lankan Refugees. Gained experience with the role of Project Director, Dean, facilitator, counselor, panel member, moderator, resource person, etc., by handling various subjects of NGO concerns at Policy consultation level, field needs and topographic-climatic conditions etc., Lead the TSC team (total sanitation Campaign, etc.,) in Thoothukudi district with Govt of Tamil Nadu.  Developed skills and know-how on managing programmes such as Ecological Sanitation projects, SSHE (School Sanitation and Hygiene Education Programme), TSC (Total Sanitation Campaign) including implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation with impact assessments. Developed and implemented emergency response activities/projects in coordination with District Administration and relevant organizations. Identified relevant Agencies of Non-Government and Government agencies like Municipal Administration, DRDA , Education- SSA, Tribal Councils for programme implementation.
