Bailey Vassalli

Bailey obtained her Bachelor's in Journalism from Missouri State in 2019. As a high school senior, she interned for a weekly paper out of Snohomish, Washington. After moving back to Missouri in 2015, she worked as a reporter and photographer for the Missouri State University student-run newspaper, The Standard, and as a photographer for the university. In addition to those, she interned two separate times with Springfield's NPR affiliate KSMU - Ozarks Public Radio, two separate times with Babe Ruth League and once with the Sullivan Independent News. She also worked part-time as a staff photographer for Ballparks of America during her final semester. After graduation, she continued working part-time as a news producer and photographer for KSMU and returned to intern with Babe Ruth League for a third time. She worked as the sports editor for Branson Tri-Lakes News prior to being laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the summer, she worked as the photography manager at Ballparks of America in Branson, Missouri before returning to the newspaper. Currently, she works as the Marketing Coordinator for Ballparks of America. Bailey has also freelanced for the Springfield News-Leader on multiple occasions, once for the Metrowest Daily News out of Massachusetts and once for the Southeast Missourian.
