Barbara Pidcock

I have a reputation for innovation and a personal mission to create and support engaged, healthy and vibrant communities. I bring over 20 years of experience in various consultant and management positions with the Ontario and federal governments. I have in-depth operational experience in not-for-profit and social and health services, including community support services, Community Care Access Centres, Local Health Integration Networks and long-term care homes. How do I do it? It is partially my interest in health literacy and empowering the consumer. I also promote stakeholder partnerships and collaborations. My continuing focus is improving care to the client, the consumer, the survivor, the patient – the person. Specialties: I work with health and social services providers and planners in services for children, adults and seniors, such as community social and health services. Experience includes models of care with practice and program standards, outcome measures, case management, collaboration and integration, program evaluation and development, operational reviews, strategic planning, preparing organizations for accreditation, and governance.
