Barbara Polak-Labit

I am in my 11th year of working for RBS (NatWest Markets) in London and my current role is NWM Treasury Capital. Previously, I worked in liquidity strategy and EMEA Network financial control after completing a 3-year graduate programme with my final rotation of 6 months taking place in the Paris branch, working for the France CFO. Additionally to the above experience, I have covered various roles through my past rotations: Regulatory reporting, Regulatory Developments and Affairs, Markets Decision Support, and EMEA Decision Support and Financial Control. Prior to joining RBS I graduated with a MSc in Law and Accounting Merit degree from the London School of Economics and with a BBA (Hons) in Management degree from Lancaster University with a 1st class honours. I also studied at HEC Paris business school for one semester. During my studies I had several work experiences (i.e. Free-lance project assistant for L.E.K., IBM UK Ltd for one year and several summer placements). I speak 3 languages fluently (German, English, Polish), French on an advanced level and have basics in Russian. I have lived / worked / studied in 5 different countries (Poland, Germany, UK, France and USA). I have very good communication skills and I like new challenges and opportunities. I easily adapt into new environments and I am a quick and eager learner.
