Barbara Tayrien

I am a fighter of human rights, as well as animal welfare. I have trained extensively to help youth at risk.I am happiest helping others, working in a non-profit environment. I am certified in nutrition with an emphasis on vegetarian cuisine. I attended culinary school in Dallas,Texas. I have a colorful background in the entertainment industry, and love to travel. Understanding spirituality and living in the moment has been a personal mission for me for many years. Everyday is a day filled with opportunities to grow and learn new things about ourselves. Our bodies have mind boggling capabilities to heal itself as it works tirelessly to stay in homeostasis. The human being consists of mind, body, and spirit all working together in synchronicity. I received my degree in sociology and am certified in nutrition and wellness by Chapman University. With this degree I entered the world of social services and worked with Children’s Mental Health. I provided services for families with children that had mental health issues to help create stabilization and self-sufficiency. I work hard, but am also able to motivate others to join me in a concerted effort to get things done in a positive manner. I live by the golden rule and believe in non-judgmental, compassionate approaches towards others with respect and integrity. I have helped others to realize and utilize the power of the spirit to promote positive connections we have with each other.
