Beatrice Parodi

Young ecologist with a passion for marine ecosystems. In my career to date I have worked in several international organizations involved in marine conservation, where I have taken active part in field research activities related to marine species monitoring, as well as in project management and communication. Through these experiences, I have demonstrated strong fieldwork, analysis and interpersonal skills, that have allowed me to support successful collaborative research projects and public awareness raising initiatives, contributing to the growth of the organizations I have worked in. During my postgraduate studies I carried out an MSc research project on the genetics and speciation of killer whales, based on a bioinformatic study of genetic diversity, and I previously studied the hormonal response of injured sea turtles in the Mediterranean. Combining a set of solid technical skills and my interpersonal attitude, I aspire to continue supporting organizations involved in marine conservation as well as the development of environmental management strategies in the private sector.
