I’m an advanced-level proofreader and editor with expertise in all things related to the written and spoken word. I’m a ready resource for grammar issues, and I love presenting to groups wanting to learn more about wording and proofreading issues. My services go far beyond merely proofreading to make sure copy is error-free. I’m an advocate for the reader and enjoy editing text to be more inviting and readable. I address consistency on all levels—word style, voice, capitalization, spacing, and so on. I also address design elements, making sure they're applied consistently and in a way that ensures an easy read. I enjoy collaborating and adapting to my clients' needs and styles, I make it a point to focus on the positive, and I believe you can have fun while you work. I excel at conveying edits clearly using Adobe Acrobat Pro and MS Word but am equally comfortable hand-marking my edits and scanning them for my clients. In addition, I'm well-versed in the most widely used writing styles (e.g., Associated Press and The Chicago Manual of Style).
