I counsel clients on all matters relating to executive compensation and employee benefit plan design, including counseling relating to executive employment agreements, severance plans, health and welfare plans and qualified retirement plans. I provide clients with accurate, practical advice, but more importantly, I always consider business needs. There are usually multiple solutions for each problem, depending on the client's desired approach. I also try to put the "fun"​ in "ERISA."​ Wait a second.... I specialize in health and welfare benefit plan consulting, including compliance with HIPAA, the ACA, wellness program legal requirements. I've given hundreds of presentations on various benefit topics, and I serve on the faculty of the Health Care Reform Center and Policy Institute, a nonprofit public policy organization. I counsel clients in a range of industries including, staffing, retail, hospitality, healthcare, public sector and manufacturing.
