Ben Sage

A motivated professional with a career spanning 29 years within all aspects of the social care industry. Beginning my career as a volunteer for mental health charities, working in secure settings to old style residential, children s homes to senior management, training, domiciliary care and supported living. Whilst i understand the concepts of process and compliance - person centred care is at the heart of what i do and enjoy. I have worked across the UK forming positive relationships, making positive changes developing services and areas for the benefit of the individuals, teams and organisation. I have a vested interested in new legislation and seeing / envisaging what the face of social care will be like in 25 years time. I also have the insight into what is required from a personal perspective. Currently have a little lad diagnosed as Autistc whom presents his own challenges, Also having a father whom died at a young age spending times in care homes and community providers suffering from schizophrenia and dementia. This i believe allows me to change and develop teams over a period of time and truly develop social care where it needs to be and currently love the organisation I work for.... Entirely person centred and driven by good family values
