I am a goal-driven project specialist / engineer with recent consulting experience plus 16 years at a multi-national oil & gas company, working on multi-billion dollar integrated projects (Sakhalin 2, Mackenzie Gas Project, LNG Canada), as well as small $10-20 MM projects. Strong and effective leadership of contractors, a proven track record in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and interface management, and strong communication skills have been the keys to my success. Projects include: • Pre-feasibility, concept selection, front end engineering, detailed design and construction phases, research & development (R&D). • Complex site investigations planning / execution (geotechnical, geo-environmental), complex logistics operations planning / execution (especially marine, e.g. Dredging; plant module delivery via beach landing), future asset development plans, well site tie-ins, frac and produced water distribution infrastructure and hubs, offshore platform tie-in, offshore facility substructure / hull. • Greenfield and brownfield locations. • Remote, Frontier and Arctic locations. • Joint Ventures: Operated and Non-Operated. In addition to this experience, I have been a close observer of oil and gas activity in the Arctic and sub-Arctic since carrying out my post-graduate research on a related topic. In particular, I have followed developments in Russian Arctic and sub-Arctic oil and gas for ~ 25 years.
