Ben Walzer

Data Analyst experienced collaborating with stakeholders and implementing big data frameworks to develop backend data pipelines, gain insight with analytics and programming machine learning algorithms, and create front end dashboards and visualisations. Always looking to improve my programming skills and learn new technologies. I am comfortable with a variety of AWS products, including EC2 for general cloud computing and web hosting, EMR for handling big data with Spark, RDS for setting up and hosting remote SQL databases, and s3 for storing and accessing data on the cloud. SQL has proved invaluable for most of my projects, and I am comfortable with complex SQL queries and database design. I recently graduated from the Galvanize Data Science Immersive course, and am currently looking for a role as a junior data scientist to gain experience and learn under and alongside others.
