Benjamin Jordan

I am a third year Mechanical Engineering student at McGill University. I have a great passion for engineering, and I’m trying to get into the industry to start building my experiences and to learn from the best! I am a co-captain of the McGill Baja Racing Team, in charge of roughly 50 engineering students, designing and manufacturing a single seat off road prototype vehicle to be competed internationally at SAE sponsored design competitions. This role has taught me a lot of what it means to be a team player and a team leader, as well as the design process and mentality. I am also subteam leader of the Drivetrainsubsystem, where I will oversee the first 4-wheel-drive Drivetrain system in the team’s history.I am not one to run away from adversity, I love to challenge myself and to overcome those challenges. I am a great team player, where I thrive in groups where harmony is. I have learned that communication and organization is very important, and with me as part of your team we will bring the best out of each other.
