As a graduate of UT’s College of Business Administration’s Finance program I have gained considerable knowledge and practical experience in finance, economics, and accounting while both working individually and in teams.I have several years of accounting experience. Prior to my current position at Leidos, I worked as a Fuel Accountant at PilotFlying J.I have worked in retail banking as a teller for more than two years and as a bank operations Balance Controller for more than six years. As a teller, selling financial products to current and prospective clients and developing client relationships with the institution had always been an emphasized job function. In Check processing, accuracy and meeting deadlines to have client deposits and payments available as soon as possible in addition to forwarding bank work to the Federal Reserve were key. A keen eye for mechanical errors or customer mathematical errors was a critical qualification for accurate balance control in bank operations. Additionally, open communication with fellow operations clerks within the Check Processing department and individuals outside of the department were vital to successful operations.
