I was appointed a CNRS research scientist in 2001 and I joined the Silicon Microsystems Group of IEMN, Lille, France. Since 2007, one of my research topics has concerned the development of high-frequency atomic force microscopy (AFM) probes based on micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology, including more recently optomechanics as a sensing principle. Potential applications are foreseen in the field of high-speed microscopy and spectroscopy of nanobiosystems. In 2013, I moved to the LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse, France, where I was the head of the Micro Nano Bio Technologies department from 2015 to 2021.
