I spent many years focusing on the evolution of the Virtual Community, moving as early as 2000 to what is now known as Cloud Computing. In the recent years I have been focusing in the evolution and growth of Virtualization and Cloud Computing. I am focused on the operational execution of a technology strategy demonstrated with hands-on approach in sales, marketing, R&D, venture financing, and managing overall company/business growth. Always keeping a hands on experience with the technology. I am nothing without a good team, so I have developed leadership and team building skills, through years of management experience with teams ranging up to 160+ employees. Skilled IT leader and visionary with broad experience in network architecture, data center architecture, and software development. • Designed data centers and networks around the world, US(22 cities), Great Britain(London), Egypt (Cairo), UAE(Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah), Norway(Stavanger, Oslo), Switzerland(Geneva), Columbia (Bogotá –satellite ), Australia(Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin) Assisted Kazakhstan to get their first Internet connection. • Led Design of a new Internet Backbone for Australia for Optus Communications. In direct competition with Telstra (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, and more) • Founder/Executive VP of a successful High Tech consulting firm focused on architecting Carrier and Enterprise networks and data centers • As Chief Technology Officer, managed the design of a Internet Data Center with capacity of up to 22,000 servers, DWDM network with 32 lamda’s at OC192. This data center featured what is known today as private clouds.
