Started in the tourism business in 1979 with the opening of a new travel agency, Sold the agency in 1986, during the hay-day of travel agencies, I excepted a senior management position with a commuter airline and a few years later progressed to one of the major airlines in the US today with 10 years managing the airline's sales and operations for their vacation package division. In 1999 I found an under-served niche to provide white label, aka private label vacation packaging in the under-served Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) or Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) organizations. Bringing my full experience of vacation packaging Award Vacations was born specializing in managing and operating vacation package programs for DMO's and Tourism Bureaus. Specialties: Developing and Managing vacation package programs for DMO's and Tourism Bureaus with extensive Call Center management knowledge and capabilities.
