About

Ever since I graduated as a MSc Integrated Product Design (Industrial Design Engineering) at the Delft University of Technology I have developed myself in an experienced (product/mould) engineer with a focus on thermoplastic injection moulding, but also LSR and rubber. During this journey I gained knowledge of (thermo)plastic product development, product optimization, FEM analysis (strength-, stiffness and Moldflow simulations), thermoplastic material behaviour, design for manufacturing and (injection) mould development. I believe it is important to understand both the theory and practical aspects to the injection moulding process and work closely together with colleagues from the tool shop and the process engineers. Occasionally I had to get my hands dirty in the tool shop to provide technical support, disassemble parts or accelerate the lead-time. In the future I would also want to gain more first-hand experience on operating the injection moulding machine to complete the entire cycle from product development to manufacturing.
