“The harder I work, the luckier I seem to get” was my high school yearbook caption. As I start my career, I have never found this saying more truthful. In high school, I focused most of my attention on the sport of rowing at the expense of school. While I did help set a world record for the longest continuous row on a rowing machine at 3 days and 3 hours and earned a chance to participate in Youth Rowing Nationals, I knew I had not given my academics everything I had. Today, I am an Analyst at Rosen Consulting Group. I graduated in May 2019 with a major in finance and a minor in accounting and Summa Cum Laude honors. My long terms goals are to get an MBA, work as a management consultant, and eventually be an entrepreneur. My experience includes analyzing cash flows for a non-profit organization in order to assess the feasibility of a new real estate development and consulting for a small business to grow their customer base by 25 a year. In addition, I participated in the 2019 NAIOP University Challenge, a commercial real estate development competition. I conducted market research and co-led the financial analysis portion for the roughly 2,000,000 square foot SPAWAR site in San Diego. Lastly, I was one of the co-founders of The Design Thinking Group club on campus, which focused on design, innovation, and building. On my free time, I enjoy analyzing and learning about football statistics, improving my personal numbers in distance running, and reading.
