Blair Henry

Having mis-spent my twenties pursuing altered states and making very questionable decisions, I grew up, learned how to become a decent human and set out to find a career path that was as engaging as his irresponsible acts were. After several business experiments, I landed on the business of Corporate Training. It turned out my unconventional approach to adult learning resonated with businesses and industry and to my own amazement, business grew and I was approached by some Fortune 100 CEO's and asked to coach them. In my mid forties I had a realization I could actually impact the world in a very positive way if I made the business mindset and technologies that I was coaching and training, available to grass roots organizations and NGOs in low income nations. Those organizations could positively affect the lives of many people if they were supported with tools, techniques and mindset training. So along with my family, sold everything, took a chance and moved to a village in Northern Botswana where I coached over 56 AIDS Service Organizations. Satisfied that my process had worked in that environment, the family moved to Nepal where I worked with organizations who support dismantling of the caste system. I am an unflappable problem solver who juggles multiple assignments simultaneously and works with confidence and ease in even the most challenging, fast-paced environments. I have worked with government and businesses to create policy training programs as well as designing measurement tools to assess training effectiveness. When we came back to the cold Canadian winter, I worked with a team of committed humans to establish Ontario's first safe injection site. With that completed, I now coach a select clientele, work my plot of land and attempts highly ambitious woodworking projects that are clearly above my skill level. “Blair is a thinker and a doer.
